MONROVIA, June 27 (LINA) – Liberia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Lewis G. Brown, will on Thursday, June 30, present his Letters of Credence to the Secretary General of the United Nations (UN), Ban Ki-Moon.

According to Deputy Information Minister Isaac Jackson, Ambassador Brown will be submitting his letters along with the newly-assigned representatives of Japan and Albania to the UN chief.

Making the disclosure in Monrovia, Jackson said Ambassador Brown, former Minister of Information, arrived at the United States on June 16 and was received by the UN protocol to officially arrange his meeting with the head of that world body.

Minister Jackson indicated that while awaiting the date to present his Letters of Credence, Ambassador Brown has been holding introductory consultations with the missions of other countries at the United Nations.
