The Managing Director of Pierre, Tweh and Associate, a law firm in Monrovia , Cllr. Oswald Tweh, sounded the warning against the backdrop of the wave of corruption that is permeating Liberian society nowadays.
Tweh told the graduates during the ceremony held on the Cuttington University main campus in Suakoko, Bong County over the weekend, to exercise self-restraint in conduct, preference and choice, adding that they should be morally upright and observe a personal code of behavior conforming to decency and moral probity.
‘’Pratice and promote ethical values and integrity, and be industrious and honest,’’ he said, noting “your duties include being punctual, observing time-the universal time-and not the Liberian time.”
Tweh pointed out that an idle person is useless to any purpose, and challenged them to be industrious and honest.
Tweh also cautioned them to perform their duties or tasks assigned them with zeal and fidelity, adding that a person who makes good in lowly positions is that person who usually makes good in higher positions.
