Grupee said it has been observed that during past elections some politicians took advantage of young people and used them to castigate their opponents, a situation which, he noted, is not healthy for the nation.
Speaking at the dedication of the Grace Baptist Church in Zuatuo Town, Nimba County over the weekend, Grupee also challenged Liberian youths to prioritize education to become important to society.
Meanwhile, the Nimba County lawmaker is also calling on Liberians to always remember their leaders in prayer during their worship activities.
Grupee opined that the nation is struggling to combat corruption and other ills in society, something which, he said, is responsible for the nation's underdevelopment.
He believes that the nation's current condition can be made even better if Liberians devote themselves to praying for the country and its leaders, noting, "This will create room for development in the country."
