At the same time, Minister Kollie has disclosed that the ministry will work with its partners in the coming months to ensure the installation of high speed Internet and hardware to make the disaster management committees efficient.
For his part, Internal Affairs Minister Dr. Henrique Tokpah said the items will help enhance the work of the disaster management committees.
Dr. Tokpah then commended the World Bank, UNDP, WFP and all partners of the Internal Affairs Ministry for the collaboration his administration continues to enjoy from them.

MIA Donates To Disaster Management Teams

Presenting the items on the sidelines of the just-ended weeklong Coordination Conference of the ministry in Gbarnga, Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Gbemie Horace Kollie said the items were provided by the World Bank through the Global Fund for Disaster Risk Reduction.
