MIA Donates To Disaster Management Teams

GBARNGA, September 10 ( LINA) - The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has presented fifteen Desktop Computers and fifteen Printers to Disaster Management Teams in the 15 counties.
Presenting the items on the sidelines of the just-ended weeklong Coordination Conference of the ministry in Gbarnga, Deputy Internal Affairs Minister Gbemie Horace Kollie said the items were provided by the World Bank through the Global Fund for Disaster Risk Reduction.

GANTA, September 10 (LINA) – The Ganta United Methodist Hospital (GUMH) Chief Administrator has disclosed that the hospital has received more malaria cases than other sicknesses in recent times.

MONROVIA, September 10 (LINA) – The Ministry of Health has begun the evaluation of external regulations for health promotion in Liberia, the ministry’s Head of Health Promotions, John Sumo, has said. 
Sumo told the UNMIL radio morning talk show “Coffee Break” recently that the evaluation forms part of the implementation of International Health Regulations (IHR) to build a resilient health system in the country.
