Superintendent Brown said although the fight against the Ebola in the county is yet to be won, there was need for citizens to keep their surroundings clean to avoid the risk of being overwhelmed with another health crisis.

He made the call Friday at the regular weekly Bomi County Ebola Task Force Meeting in Tubmanburg.

Brown stressed that basic sanitary and health practices by citizens will play a major role in the eradication of Ebola and other diseases.

He called on the government and international partners to help pave the road which links Tubmanburg to the Liberia Government Hospital (LGH) and the Ebola Treatment Unit to ensure that patients are quickly transported to the hospital and the ETU by ambulances and other vehicles.

He also urged residents of Tubmanburg City to begin  cleaning their premises and lots as soon as possible.
