KAKATA, December 26.(LINA)- Save the Children International has donated 8 new Yamaha motorcycles to the C. H. Rennie Memorial Hospital in Kakata, Margibi County .

Making the donation on the compound of the C.H. Rennie Memorial Hospital in Kakata Friday, the Area Manager of Save the Children International, Sonia Kush, said her organization will continue to support the Margibi County Health Team to enable it provide better health care to the people of the county.

Miss Kush emphasized that Save the Children, as a lead international partner in Margibi County, will at all times provide the requisite support in the face of the Ebola outbreak until the disease is totally eradicated from the country.

She said Save the Children International was donating the 8 Yamaha motorcycles to the Margibi County Health Team to enable it effectively carry out contact tracing in all communities in Margibi County.

Receiving the motorcycles on behalf of the Margibi County Health Team, the Administrator of the C.H. Rennie Memorial Hospital, Raymond Cassell, thanked Save the Children International for the donation.

Mr. Cassell said it is in the time of crisis that people get to know their true friends, noting that Save the Children has proven to be a true friend, and admonished them to continue such gesture.

The cost of the 8 Yamaha motorcycle is put at over eight thousand United States Dollars.
