“Remarkable progress has been made in the restoration of public confidence in the judicial system of the country,” he said.
He indicated that taking over a system challenged with a barrage of issues to be addressed, his administration immediately embarked on “a confidence restoration campaign” with the institution taking series of measures to help the court regain public trust.
He noted that with the lack of infrastructure, trained manpower, inadequate budget, coupled with competing national demands, his administration thought to work on the restoration of public trust in the court system as one of its priorities.
The opening section was attended by Justice Minister Benedict Sannoh, Speaker of the house of Representative J. Alex Tyler and Senate Pro-Tempore Armah Z. Jallah.
