SANNIQUELLIE, January 6 (LINA) -Nimba County Representative Prince Tokpah has embarked on the distribution of US$25,000 worth of materials to seven communities in Sanniquellie and 21 towns and villages in the district.

 

The items include hand pumps, DSTV dishes with accessories, bags of cement, bundles of zinc, plastic chairs, generators, steel rods and several bags of white wash.
 
Communities in Sanniquellie that benefited from the donation are Viepah, Underground, Dahnlopa, Old and New Sanniquellie, Air Field Zone-II and Fangarlo Street.
 
Each of the communities received four bundles of zinc and 30 bags of cement while Air Field Zone-I got four bundles of Zinc, 20 bags of cement and a hand pump.

Seven towns in Sieh Clan got 19 bundles of zinc, 142 bags of cement and two bags of white wash, while the six towns in Gbouar received 18 bundles of zinc , 172 bags of cement, one DSTV set and 50KVA generator.
 
Eight towns in Yahpeay Mah District received 32 bundles of zinc, 140 bags of cement, two sets of DSTV,  two 50KVA generators and 40 pieces of plastic chairs, while three organizations, including the popular women business group called “Goto & Kiakoyea” , got seven bundles of zinc and 30 bags of cement to construct their meeting centers.

During the donation ceremony held in Sanniquellie Monday, Representative Tokpah urged the beneficiaries to complete their projects before the upcoming rainy season.

Several months ago, the Representative distributed several bags of cement, bundles of zinc and steel rods worth over US$15,000 to several towns and villages to undertake development projects.
