MONROVIA, October 2 (LINA) -The President of the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA), Cllr. Theophilus C. Gould, has admonished practicing lawyers to uphold the virtues of the legal profession.
Gould said reliability, transparency and independence of the country's legal profession requires the professional input of people who find themselves in the profession.
According to the Liberia News Agency, Cllr. Gould spoke Wednesday evening on the grounds of the Temple of Justice when the LNBA and the Montserrado County Bar Association (MCBA) jointly donated several anti-Ebola materials to 10 Magisterial Courts in Montserrado County.
Items donated are two dozens of faucet-fitted buckets, a cartons of chlorine and Clora, and two cartons of power soap, according to the Liberia News Agency.
He said the donation is meant to buttress the efforts of the courts in their fight against the spread of the virus in Liberia.
Making remarks at the program, Cllr. Sam Cooper, MCBA President hoped the materials would be used by the various courts to prevent the spread of the deadly Ebola virus during the discharge of their duties.
