VOINJAMA, August 26 (LINA) -Lofa County authorities have distributed food items to Ebola victims in four districts in Lofa County that are hit by the Ebola virus.

The four districts are Voinjama, Quadou Gboni, Kolahun and Foya, according to the Liberia News Agency.

Each district received 75 bags of rice and 14 bags of beans as a gesture from authorities of the county.

Speaking recently during the distribution of the items in Voinjama City, Mayor Yonguor Sherman said the rice and beans were government’s way of sympathizing with Ebola victims.

Receiving the food items, officials of the Ebola-affected districts commended government for the donation and urged them to do more to save the lives of their citizens.
