MONROVIA, Jan 6 (LINA) - Sixteen officers of the Liberia National Police (LNP) have left the country to undergo a two-month intensive training course at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

They will study Communication and Administrative Skills for Public Servants, Principles of Management, Police Administration, Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, among others.

The training is part of plans by the Police administration to build the capacity of young officers expected to take over the security of the country as the UN Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) draws down its security forces, a release from the police said.
