MONROVIA, Feb 15 (LINA)-The Independent National Commission on Human Rights (INCHR) has called on Liberians to make use of the Palava Hut method in the nation’s reconciliation process.

The Vice Chair of the Commission, Mr. Boakai Dukuly, said the Palava Hut method was the only way forward for Liberians to settle their differences.

He made the statement Friday in an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Monrovia.

Mr. Dukuly also noted that for the country to forge ahead with its development agenda, Liberians must be willing to forget the past and unite efforts in the rebuilding of a vibrant society.

He explained that the rebuilding of Liberia cannot be achieved in the midst of socio-political and economic differences, adding that unless Liberians consider one another as people with one common patrimony, their zeal to build Liberia will remain bleak.

Mr. Dukuly has meanwhile lauded the international community for the level of peace being enjoyed in the country.
