HARPER, Feb 22 (LINA) - Acting Maryland County Superintendent, Henry Cole, has ordered the arrest and immediate prosecution of anyone impersonating as a journalist in the county.

Supt. Cole said while it is true that the current government respects press freedom, Maryland County authorities will not condone falsehood and impersonation in the media.

The acting superintendent's order comes in the wake of a reaction by Maryland County health Officer, Dr. Odell Kumeh, to media reports from Monrovia that the ongoing nation-wide strike action by health workers has resulted to the deaths of three patients at the J.J Dossen Hospital in the County.

She described the report as 'completely false' and intended to mislead the public.

Meanwhile, the acting Superintendent Thursday morning visited the hospital and met with staff of all departments of the J.J Dossen Hospital and gathered that there have been no deaths since the strike action started, contrary to media reports in Monrovia.
