Three Charged With Murder In Tubmanburg

TUBMANBURG, November 18 (LINA) -The Bomi County Police detachment has charged three persons with murder in Bomi County.

The Police charge sheet Monday said defendants Fatu Bonyon, Moses Togbah and Tenneh Goeh were charged with the murder of a 62-year-old lady, Saiyah Gbarklo of Gbar in the Sime Darby Plantation in Bomi County.

The Police charge sheet further said old lady Gbarklo was murdered on Thursday, November 3, by the three defendants on her farm in Gbar.

According to the charge sheet, the defendants allegedly murdered old lady Gbarklo with cutlasses and extracted blood from her corpse.

The Police charge sheet indicated that the defendants’ action was in violation of the New Penal Code of Liberia.

Defendants Fatu Bonyon, Moses Togbah and Tenneh Goeh have been detained at the Tubmanburg Central Prison awaiting court trial.

The three accused did not respond to the charges during police investigation, according to the Liberia News Agency correspondent in the county.
