MONROVIA, November 19 (LINA) -The House of Representatives has passed a bill entitled “An Act to establish Seimavula Magisterial Court” in Seimavula Clan, Porkpa District, Grand Cape Mount County.

All lawmakers present in plenary Tuesday voted for the bill after the Committees on Internal Affairs, Judiciary and Ways, Means and Finance submitted their report requesting its passage.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the committees in the report urged plenary to pass the bill because it will grant the inhabitants in the clan access to justice, prevent crimes, improve human security and enhance the rule of law.

Following the passage of the bill, Speaker J. Alexander Tyler instructed the Chief Clerk, Mildred Sayon, to send the instrument to the Liberian Senate for concurrence.
