TUBMANBURG, January 25 (LINA) - The Clan Chief of Sasstown, Tehr District, Bomi County has called on government to construct a high school to facilitate secondary education in the clan.

Chief Momo Tarwo noted that there are more elementary and junior high schools in the clan which lacks a high school to enable the pupils further their education.

Speaking in an interview with the Liberia News Agency on Friday in the clan, Chief Tarwo said some children have been sitting for three to four years without attending school because there is no high school in the clan.

He said the clan has 36 towns with many students not attending school because their parents cannot afford to send them to other areas to attend senior high school.
