MONROVIA, January 27 (LINA) -The Superintendent of the Monrovia Consolidated School System (MCSS), Adolphus Jacobs, has called on government to make available Ebola preventive materials ahead of school re-opening.

Materials needed are hand-washing buckets, chlorine and thermometers, he said.

The MCSS boss made the statement in an interview with the Liberia News Agency Monday at a one-day Ebola prevention workshop for MCSS’s teachers held at the William V. S. Tubman High school in the Sinkor suburb of Monrovia.

According to Jacobs, all MCSS schools must be safe environments before schools are reopened in order to ensure the safety of students, teaching and support staffs.

He said without these materials on the MCSS campuses, it would be difficult to protect students against the Ebola virus.
