BOPOLU, February 6 (LINA) - Gbarpolu County Development Superintendent Paul Kimba is appealing to the UNMIL Civil Affairs Office to replace the Bamba Town wooden bridge with one made of concrete.

Kimba noted that the bridge in Bamba Town has become “a complete death trap” for residents of the town because it is in a dilapidated condition.

He made the appeal recently at the end of a five-day assessment tour of major bridges and roads across the county.

He also appealed to companies operating in the county to rehabilitate major roads in Bopolu, Kongba, Belle and Gbarma districts before the raining season to improve their durability.
