MONROVIA, February 9 (LINA) - The Ministry of Justice has vowed to mete out “even-handed justice with speed” against deliberate violators of the law to maintain peace and security.

Justice Minister Benedict Sannoh has also instructed law enforcement agencies to arrest, where they have probable cause to believe that crime has been committed or law has been violated, investigate and turn over to the Justice Ministry for prosecution persons so involved except so exempted by law.

In a statement issued Monday, February 9, Cllr. Sannoh said “there will be fundamental change in how the ministry handles deliberate violations of the law.”

He then warned Liberians and residents to refrain from “deliberate acts that have the potential to incite the public” to action that will compromise public order, security of the state, peace and stability being enjoyed in the country.
