The Deputy Minister of Information for Public Affairs, Isaac W. Jackson, has called on every citizen to form part of the Ebola trial vaccines ongoing at Redemption Hospital in New Kru Town. 

Speaking at the regular news conference on Ebola or the ‘MICAT Ebola Hour’ on Monday, Deputy Minister Jackson explained the significance of the trial vaccines and the history Liberia is making along with other countries to allow the experimental therapy  in their hospitals and clinics.
Minister Jackson cautioned Liberians to do away with myths surrounding the trial and clarified that “The issue of the vaccine trial is a voluntary venture”.
He also added that detail surrounding the vaccine is well explained to any individual desiring to take the vaccine for inform judgment before deciding. “No one is compelled or forced to take the vaccines”, he said.   
Since the trial of the vaccines barely a week ago, there have been some good as well as gloomy news.
While investigators on the vaccines study have been satisfied with the encouraging turnout, there has been a growing public misconception that the vaccines were harmful and, in some quarters, a conspiracy to infect the population with the very deadly Ebola virus.
Authorities have persistently ruled out foul play and are now engaged in a massive public awareness of the trial vaccines.
