MONROVIA, February 10 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has commissioned former Grand Gedeh County Senator Isaac Nyenabo as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Belgium and the European Union.

President Sirleaf performed the commissioning in the Cabinet Room at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Monrovia on Tuesday, the Liberia News Agency reports.

Nyenabo was earlier confirmed by the Liberian Senate in November last year following his appointment by President Sirleaf as Ambassador to Belgium and the EU.

Ambassador Nyenabo served the Liberian Senate for nine years and briefly as President Pro-Tempore of the body.
