MONROVIA, February 13 (LINA) -The Government of Liberia has congratulated Senator Armah Jallah on his election as President Pro-Tempore of the Liberian Senate.
Information Minister Lewis Brown told the daily news conference at the Information Ministry Friday that the government welcomes Senator Jallah into the higher level of political leadership of the country.
Brown noted that the government and people of Liberia look forward to working together with Pro-Tempore Jallah, adding that Liberians should continue the process of reform and rebuilding of the country.
He also congratulated the people of Gbarpolu County, which Jallah represents in the Upper House, and called for engagement in doing the business of the people.
