Officers of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) have arrested three Nigerians on Bushrod Island with 101 grams of cocaine and 946.8 grams of mixed powder with a combined valued of L$600,000.

A release from the Ministry of Justice named those arrested as Dormatus Nwakafor, 36, and Emmanuel Eza, 35, who were nabbed in New Kru Town and Point Four respectively.

The third, a 35-year-old resident of the Logan Town Rice Store area (name not disclosed), was arrested in the St Paul Bridge Community.

According to the release, DEA Director-General Col. Antony K. Souh said the Agency will not relent in arresting anyone who engages in illegal drug trafficking or abuse.

Meanwhile, the release said that two of the Nigerians have been detained by the DEA pending court trial.
