MONROVIA, February 20 (LINA) – Montserrado County Representative Gabriel Nyenka has requested plenary to cite Public Works Minister William G. Moore over his alleged instruction to a road construction firm not to discuss road issues with his constituents.

In his letter to plenary, Nyenka said since his election he has failed to get the ministry to pave or rehabilitate the road in his constituency, but that it has given the go-ahead to 75 CICO trucks to use the road.

The Dixville, Gardnesville, Barnesville and Caldwell roads serve as a detour to the Somalia Drive that is currently under construction, Nyenka emphasized.

He noted in his communication that the permission for usage of the road without its pavement or rehabilitation undermines his long-awaited dream and efforts to have the road upgraded.

Meanwhile, the communication has been sent to the Committee on Public Works and Rural Development for review and discussion.
