ROVIA, February 25 (LINA) - Latest reports from the 19 Ebola Treatment Units (ETUs) show a drop in Ebola-related cases with two confirmed cases across the country compared to three weeks ago when there were eight cases.

Acting Information Minister Isaac Jackson made the disclosure during the regular daily Information Ministry Ebola press briefing at the ministry Wednesday, according to the Liberia News Agency.

Although Jackson was not specific about which ETUs recorded the two cases, he said this development is an indication that the deadly virus is being eradicated from the country.
He described as “untrue” reports of four new cases in Margibi County, explaining that the county recorded only one confirmed case, while two others are suspected cases.

Meanwhile, the head for contact tracing of the Incident Management System, Dr. Mosoka Fallah, has urged citizens to remain vigilant in the fight against the Ebola virus.
He indicated that every single case is dangerous, adding “it was a single case that led our country into this dilemma that we are facing right now.”
