KAKATA, March 6 (LINA) - Margibi County Superintendent John Buway has observed that collective efforts and coordination among health authorities, local and international partners were vital in the fight to contain the Ebola virus in the country.
In an interview with the Liberia News Agency (LINA) in Kakata Friday, Buway noted that though Liberia is yet to be declared Ebola free, now that the county has reported no new case in the last 13 days, all stakeholders should be on the ‘red alert’ for any eventuality.
He pointed out that the County Health Team and its partners as well as local authorities have put into place stringent health measures across the county that is being monitored 24 hours.
He also lauded President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for her stance in the fight against the Ebola disease.
