(LINA) -A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Liberian Translation and Literacy Organization (LIBTRAOL) and the Lutheran Bible Translators (LBT) to fund the LIBTRALO headquarters building project.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the MOU seeks to document the details of LIBTRALO’s headquarters building project and its invitation extended to the LBT to participate in funding the project.
The building situated on the Robertsfield Highway is estimated at US$245, 000 with the Lutheran Bible Translators making an initial contribution of US135, 000.

Speaking Wednesday at the signing ceremony in Sinkor, LIBTRALO Board Chairman Hawa Goll-Kochi underscored the need for proper accountability and transparency in the use of the project funds.
Mrs. Goll-Kochi said the donor agency would be discouraged to continue its assistance if funds intended for the project are misapplied, noting that “as a Christian organization, we must set an example worth emulating.”
Mrs. Hawa GOLL-Kochi signed for LIBTRALO, while Alvina Federwitz signed for the Lutheran Bible Translators.
