MONROVIA, April 3 (LINA) - The United States Department of Defense has provided 240 containers of building materials to the Liberian Government to help in the fight against the Ebola virus.

The items have been turned over to the General Services Agency (GSA) that is in charge of government property.

Making the disclosure at the Ministry of Information daily press conference in Monrovia Thursday, GSA Director-General Mary T. Broh said the materials will be used in the interest of the government and Liberian people.

According to Broh, the materials are currently stockpiled at the motor pool facility of GSA in Paynesville.

Meanwhile, Broh has disclosed that as the premier service delivery agency of government, the GSA continues to provide quality services to quarantined families and other vulnerable groups by delivering food and other needed items to them in a timely manner.

“I am proud to let you know that this is my way of providing logistical support to the Ministry of Health in our government’s overall fight against Ebola,” she added.
