TUBMANBURG, April 6 (LINA) - Bomi County Traffic Court Judge John Z. Kollie has appealed to the government through the Judiciary to provide transportation and logistics for the judges of the Specialized Courts and Magistrates to effectively adjudicate cases.

 He indicated that the lack of transportation and other needed supplies is hindering the operations of the courts in the county.
Judge Kollie said judges of the Specialized Courts and the Magistrates do not have cars to enable them to go areas to see where incidents have occurred.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency on Monday in Tubmanburg, Judge Kollie said it is not safe to carry a criminal to the Prison Compound on a motorbike as is being done at the moment.

He said the Traffic Court has a Clerk and two Bailiffs but does not have an Administrative Officer, Sheriff, Filling Clerk and Recordist.

He further disclosed that from January 2014 to April 2015, the court has adjudicated five accident cases.
He said the court under the period mentioned, did not send accident case to the 11th Judiciary Circuit Court, noting that only cases involving deaths are sent to the Circuit Court.
