TUBMANBURG, April 9 (LINA) - An international non-governmental organization, German Agro Action, has donated assorted agriculture tools to 100 backyard gardeners and farmers in Klay District, Bomi County.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency on Wednesday during the distribution in Klay Town, the Coordinator of the district, Mr. Rufus Dukuly said the 100 farmers and gardeners were targeted by the donors.

The tools include shovels, wheel barrows, cutlasses and rain boats.
Dukuly said German Agro Action was distributing the tools through local NGO Humanity Development Foundation (HDF), its implementing partner.

According to him, the intent is to increase farming space and grow more food to feed themselves now that the Ebola virus has been eradicated from the district.
He disclosed that distributions are currently going on in Suehn Mecca, Klay and Dewein Districts.
