(LINA) -A storm triggered by heavy rains has damaged 15 homes in Zluuyee Town, Garr Clan in Nimba County.

One of the victims, Prince Yini told the Liberia News Agency Friday that new houses made of concrete, zinc, and homes covered with thatches were among structures destroyed by the wind.

Meanwhile, Mr. Yini is calling on the Nimba County Disaster Management Committee to come to the aid of victims of the disaster.

He said about 75 residents of Zluuyee Town have been rendered homeless as a result of the Tuesday night storm that struck the town which is situated
between Ganta and Sanniquellie, the county’s capital.
