SANNIQUELLIE, April 30 (LINA) - Defense Minister Brownie J. Samukai has contributed 30 bundles of zinc worth US$4,500 to the Sanniquellie Youth Association to roof its multi-purpose Youth Center costing US$40,577.

 
This is the second time the Defense Minister is reaching out to the Sanniquellie Youth Association since it embarked on the construction of the Youth Center in 2012.
 
The Defense Minister initially committed US$5,000 in cash during the foundation and wall elevation stages of the project.
 
The Chairman of the Youth Group, William Mandeinn told the Liberia News Agency in Sanniquellie Thursday that the recent donation of 30 bundles of zincs brings Minister Samukai’s contributions to the Youth Center project to US$9,500.
 
He disclosed that the project recently came to a standstill due to lack of roofing materials, and expressed optimism that with the support being generated, the project would be completed by July of this year.
