MONROVIA, May 7 (LINA) - Former River Gee Assistant Superintendent for Development, Alexander Yeaher, has donated 10 bundles of zinc and a carton of nails worth L$105,000 to the people of Chedepo Jarkaken to repair public buildings affected by a recent rainstorm.

The donation was made to officials of the city at the administrative building in response to the April 19 storm which destroyed over 98 houses and wounded three persons, Yeaher told the Liberia News Agency Tuesday.

Yeaher said the donation was his personal contribution to bring relief to the people of Chedepo Jarkapen.

He called on members of the River Gee Legislative Caucus, county administration, local and international organizations to assist the storm victims, adding, “Donors can help by providing food and shelter.”

Yeaher is a financial consultant working in Monrovia with the Smallholder Tree Crops Support Project funded by the World Bank.
