(LINA) - Bomi County Superintendent and Coordinator of the County Task Force on Ebola, Samuel Folley Brown, has revealed the dissolution of the Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.
Brown said the International Organization for Migration (IOM) turned over the ETU to the county authority and the County Health Team (CHT) on Friday.
He told the Liberia News Agency (LINA) on Friday in Tubmanburg that the ETU will be managed by the CHT and will be used for other medical purposes.
He said the IOM will continue to support the work of the CHT in handling Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) as well as other health-related issues.
According to the Superintendent, the IOM will also upgrade 10 health facilitates in the county in addition to handling the WASH sector in the county.
