FDA Offers 15 Scholarships To Natural Resource Students

(LINA) -The Forestry Development Authority (FDA) has announced the award of 15 fulltime scholarships for students majoring in Natural Resource Management and Forestry pt the Nimba County Community College (NCCC).

Deputy FDA Managing Director Darlington Tuagben noted that 2.5 grade point average remains a minimum primary qualification for students wishing to benefit from the FDA scholarship scheme at the college.

Tuagben said through a joint effort by the Environmental Protection Agency, Forestry Development Authority and the Red Cross, funding from the Norwegian government will help support the scholarship scheme.

The disclosure was made recently when Conservation International opened its first sub-office in Liberia situated at the Nimba County Community College.
