(LINA) – Jenneh Massaley lost her husband, parents and siblings to Ebola, but she and her 10 year-old daughter survived the deadly pandemic only to lead destitute lives in Grand Cape Mount County.

Jenneh, a resident of Jenewonde,Tewor District, Grand Cape Mount County, is now appealing to government, local and international non-governmental organizations and humanitarians for assistance to improve their livelihoods.

She told the Liberia News Agency in an interview Friday that since her return from the Ebola Treatment Unit (ETU) in the county few months ago, she is facing severe hardship in getting shelter, food and medication.

Jenneh explained that presently she and her daughter are staying with a friend who provides food and other items for their survival.

She hopes the government and its international partners would come to her aid to facilitate her little daughter’s education as well.
