UL Mourns Assistant Dean Goe

(LINA) – The Administration of the University of Liberia (UL) has announced the death of Assistant Dean Danny Goe who passed away on May 10 at the Women of Hope International Clinic in Paynesville, Montserrado County.

In an interview with the Liberian News Agency (LINA) on the UL main campus Tuesday, the Vice President for UL Relations, Norris Tweah, said the late Goe was a 1998 graduate of the Cuttington University College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry.

Tweah added that Goe later matriculated to the Oklahoma State University in the United States of America where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Technical Education.

Upon his return home, Goe was employed by the UL administration as part-time instructor at the William V.S Tubman Teacher College.

According to Tweah, the late Goe earlier worked at the UL as a Book Store Officer and also as Acting Director for Sports and then acting Dean, adding “ a position he held up to his death.”

Goe’s body has been deposited at a local funeral home while funeral arrangements are ongoing, he explained.
