MONROVIA, April 22 (LINA) - Montserrado County Representative J. Gabriel Nyenka has donated L$108,000 as an initial contribution to the rehabilitation of major roads in Barnersville Estate, outside Monrovia.

The head of the road project, Deddeh Baysah Antoine told the Liberia News Agency Monday that the money was in fulfillment of a pledge Rep. Nyenkan made to the road rehabilitation committee in March 2014.

Antoine put the cost of the project at US$15,000 and said only a little over US$2,000 has been raised by the project committee.

Antoine told LINA that residents of Barnersville Estate decided to undertake the road rehabilitation as a way of helping national government fulfill its development agenda.
