BUCHANAN, April 22 (LINA) -A five-day workshop on land inventory organized by the Land Commission has opened in Buchanan, Grand Bassa County.
According to Land Commissioner Estelle Liberty, the workshop is aimed
at helping the Buchanan City Mayor and Grand Bassa County Superintendent gather information and identify land, structures, parks and stadiums, among others, in the county easily.
Madam Liberty told local journalists Monday that the workshop will afford relevant authorities in Grand Bassa County the opportunity to properly plan the city of Buchanan, the provincial capital of the county.
Liberty said it will also assist local government to collect information for a data base related to land, structures, population density of a zone and percentages of female and male.
According to Madam Liberty, the workshop is targeting six zones in Buchanan, with 10 representatives from each zone.
