TUBMANBURG, May 26 (LINA) - The acting City Mayor of Tubmanburg, the provincial capital of Bomi County, Rebecca Benson, has attributed the poor performance of the city corporation to lack of budgetary support and cooperation among officials.

Madam Benson said the situation is bringing serious embarrassment to the city corporation.

Speaking to reporters at the weekend in Tubmanburg, Mayor Benson said the situation has rendered the corporation incapable of paying its staff on a monthly basis.

She said due to lack of cooperation, the city government is finding it difficult to collect fees from business houses in the city.

She said most business centers are not responding to the payment of fees for yet unexplained reasons.
