HARPER, May 29 (LINA) -Acting Maryland County Superintendent Nathaniel Toe has disclosed that President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is expected to serve as keynote speaker at the first graduation of the William V.S. Tubman University in June.

He told the Liberia News Agency Thursday that a meeting to discuss the President’s pending visit to Maryland County was held in Harper City, Maryland County on Tuesday.

The meeting chaired by Acting Superintendent Toe brought together stakeholders as well as citizens of the county, including Maryland County Representative Dr. Bhofal Chambers.
Toe said it discussed a wide range of issues, including county development projects and the holding of Town Hall meetings with citizens.

According to Superintendent Toe, the President’s visit is also in continuation of a nationwide tour during which her visit to Maryland County did not materialize.
