MONROVIA, May 31 (LINA) - National Security Advisor Dr. H. Boima Fahnbulleh has challenged youths to be committed to the rebuilding and economic transformation of Liberia.

Dr. Fahnbulleh stressed that commitment to rebuild and transform the economy would require Liberian youths preparing themselves to meet the challenges in lifting Liberia from poverty.

Speaking Friday at a program marking the commemoration of African Liberation Day organized by the Liberia National Student Union (LINSU) at the AME University Campus on Camp Johnson Road, the Security Advisor said it was also crucial to ensure that Liberia remains peaceful for the youths to prepare for future roles.

He emphasized that youths should prepare themselves educationally to liberate the African continent economically, noting that after 50 years, Africa has been liberated only politically.

The National Security Advisor observed that the African continent continues to be suppressed economically by former colonial masters, despite the fact that all the major resources in the world can be found in Africa.

Dr. Fahnbulleh emphasized that Liberian youth should remain committed to the development of the country and its people through economic liberation.
