VOINJAMA, June 3 (LINA) -The Voinjama City Corporation (VCC) has begun distributing building materials to victims of the May 13 rainstorm that destroyed at least 390 houses in Voinjama City and its suburbs.

According to the Liberia News Agency, the zinc and nails were donated by several personalities, including Messrs. Francis Kabbah, Cllr. Jallah Kpator and Stephen Zargo, while other groups and organizations made cash donations.

Speaking Saturday at the distribution site on Doe Hill in Voinjama, City Inspector Ma- Watta Kamara said the donation was intended to identify with the affected citizens victimized by the rainstorm.

Madam Kamara also noted that the first phase of the distribution targeted 20 persons from various communities whose houses were completely destroyed by the storm.

She called on all those who were not privileged to receive items during the first phase to exercise patience, adding that they will also receive their share later.
