MONROVIA, August 3 (LINA) -The General Overseer of the Royal Family Life Ministries in Logan Town, Rev. David Badio, is calling for more attention to be given medical researchers for the country to have a more robust capacity in cases of national health emergency.
The Pentecostal Prelate noted that the essence is to put the country in a position to develop best practices for health conditions that affect Liberia now or in the near future.
“If this is not seriously looked into, the country would simply be running from one form of killer disease to the next without a permanent solution,” Rev. Badio told the Liberia News Agency recently.
He said the possibility of arranging fellowships and other partnerships that would strengthen the capacity of Liberian health professionals should be given serious consideration by the Government.
Rev. Badio then welcomed the recent contribution of US$5 million by the Liberian Government towards the fight against the Ebola outbreak.
