BOPOLU, August 5 (LINA) – The Health Team of Gbarpolu County has begun distributing hand-washing materials to government and key private institutions in the county as a measure to prevent the spread of the Ebola virus.

The materials include plastic buckets with faucets attached and chlorine. Each bucket bears the name of the entity benefiting from the donation.The head of the distribution team, Mr. Kollie  McCay, cautioned beneficiaries to adhere to safety measures announced by the government, including frequent washing of the hands to transmitting the disease.He disclosed that other facilities across the county, like parking stations, motorcycle pick-up points, markets and health centers will also benefit from the distribution.Meanwhile, citizens of the county have commended the government through the Ministry of Health for the timely distribution of the preventive materials to the county.LINA EDM/TSS/PTK
