ROBERTSPORT, August 5 (LINA) -The Liberia National Red Cross Society (LNRCS) Grand Cape Mount County Chapter has donated assorted relief items to fire victims in Falie Town, Commonwealth District, Grand Cape County.

It can be recalled that fire gutted a house owned by one Hawa Pusah on June 25, destroying household and personal belongings of several victims. No casualties were reported.
According to the Liberia News Agency (LINA), items presented to the victims on Monday include blankets, buckets, tarpaulins, mats, clothing, laundry soap, andsets of kitchen utensils.
Making the presentation to the fire victims, Red Cross Cape Mount Field Officer Konah Paul said the donation was the LNRCS’ way of identifying with them in their time of distress.
Receiving the items, Madam Pusah thanked the Red Cross for the gesture and called on the government and other humanitarian organizations to emulate the example gesture of the Red Cross.LINA DIR/JGT/TSS/PTK
