MONROVIA, October 19 (LINA) – The Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) has experienced a 34 percent reduction in revenue due to power theft, an official of the entity has disclosed. According to the LEC Deputy Managing Director for Communication, Famata Sirleaf, the LEC, which generates US$3 million annually is currently accounting for US$1.5 million due to the increase in power theft.
