According to the fellowship’s General Secretary, Fata K. Johnson, the annual convention of the Women Fellowship seeks to encourage and strengthen women of the Lutheran Church, especially in the rural parts of the Liberia.

According to the Liberia News Agency, Mrs. Johnson said this year’s weeklong convention which opened on Sunday, is under the theme: “UNWRAPPING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFT”, with text taken from 1Cor. 12:7-10.

Mrs. Johnson spoke at the weekend in an interview with reporters at the Morris Officers Lutheran Church in Voinjama where the convention is convening.

She said participants were drawn from the 15 counties of Liberia.

She then called on Lutheran women across Liberia to always take advantage of these conferences.
