The Ministry’s County Coordinator, Botoe Masssaquoi, told the Liberia News Agency (LINA) Tuesday that SAPEC is intended to provide comprehensive support to farmers for the next four years in the areas of rice, cassava and vegetable cultivation.
He said the project launch will gather a range of stakeholders, including relevant government ministries and agencies, private sector partners, NGOS and civil society organizations.
County Superintendent Imam Mohammed Passewe will serve as guest speaker at the launching ceremony, which will bring together Commissioners, Chiefs, youth and women leaders as well as the United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL).
